Hours: 8 hours per day FLSA: Non-Exempt Classified Contract Status: Regular/Probationary Start Date: As soon as possible Calendar: 260 Day Notes: There are two positons available. One position will focus on Device Administration: Leading a team that will be responsible for the administration and management of all district devices including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Chrome environments.The other position will focus on Classroom Technology Administration: Leading a team responsible for the administration and management of classroom technology (AV) in 13 schools and district office.
PURPOSE: To provide leadership in technical support services for the district’s Technology Services program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Defines, evaluates, and manages technology systems to provide effective and efficient technology services for all district programs.
Makes appropriate recommendations to the district regarding purchase and installation of new computer hardware and software consistent with the district’s business and instructional goals.
Provides guidance to Technical Support 1 and Technical Support 2 staff in assembly, installation, and maintenance of new computers and related technology to enhance classroom and business environments.
Oversees configuration and maintenance of all network equipment.
Leads the work of computer network and other data processing staff to provide maximum efficiency of the district’s computer technology systems.
To the extent practical, keeps current with state-of-the-art developments in computer equipment and software, sharing knowledge with users.
Maintains, stores, and retrieves information in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner using standard office systems, equipment and software.
Performs other related services as assigned.

Certification and/or licensing appropriate to the position.
Knowledge or experience in current technology and network operation and design systems.
Ability to monitor technology advances and to recommend and implement system improvements.
Highly skilled in trouble-shooting network systems, computer hardware, and software problems.
Ability to evaluate security of the network systems
Ability to coach and mentor staff and students in the Technology Services Department.
Ability to prioritize work tasks.
Ability to use office information systems.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to review, assess, design, and implement service delivery systems.
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment in carrying out work requirements.
Ability to understand the district’s instructional goals and carry out work assignments in a manner that supports those goals.
Ability to travel among district facilities as needed; if driving, the ability to meet district driving standards.
Standard First Aid Certification, or the ability to obtain certification within two months of hire, may be required.
